Magic Blanket always tries to bring in local actors who are willing to take the leap with us. Barbara is another example of this. Bernd saw some of her performances and reached out to her to fill the role of Jessica and she sure as hell delivered!

We are blessed to have so many powerful artistic women in our rep and Barbara is another great example. The UMBC grad is not only Communications Manager at Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts but also served as the first Artistic Director of Fells Point Corner Theatre (2019-2023). Recently she helped produce the very successful first showing of “The Thanksgiving Play” by Larissa FastHorse, now playing on Broadway, at Fells Point Corner Theatre.

While Barbara has acted in numerous local stages productions, this is her third appearance in a feature film but her first co staring role.
