Ernie Fowler & the Ernie Fowler Trio
Every Monday night at the Still in Timonium Ernie held Open Mic Night. His whiskey barrel voice opened every show with three songs, then ceded the stage to every artist that signed up. Good or bad Ernie would champion them. The Still was certainly not his only venue. In fact Ernie was the “King of Music” in Baltimore. If the pub had a stage, chances are, he had played there either solo or with his bandmates: Mike Prout and Rob Petrecca. They played all over Maryland: Conrad’s, Kooper’s, Twisted Harp, The Manor Tavern, Nacho Mama’s, Mother’s, Ale House, Woody’s Rum Bar, Sean Bolan’s, The Admiral’s Cup, Iron Horse Tavern, Slainte Irish Pub, Tir Na Nog and many more. The Trio produced one album, “Life Lessons Learned.”
"This trio is the best representation of the music to date," -Ernie Fowler (The Baltimore Sun - June 8, 2010)
We lost Ernie a few months after the filming. We were honored that he blessed us with his music and we miss him.

Keith Buchanan & John Barden
Keith Buchanan Smith is internationally renowned for concerts, broadcasting and teaching of classical and Scottish Celtic music. With his violin, fiddle and highland bagpipes he regularly whisks away from his home in Ardnamurchan on the West coast of Scotland to North America, Africa, Europe and Asia.
John Barden hails from the County Longford, in the heart of Ireland. He commenced his musical career at age 8 as a soloist in the Longford Cathedral Choir. In Dublin in 1973, Frank McLynn, (a fiddler from Tang) Brian Flynn, (a guitarist from Athlone) and John formed the group "GREENSLEEVES". After much worldwide success, John left the group in 1988.
In 1994, John met up with fiddle player and piper Keith. Although Keith was living in U.K. and John in Germany, they decided to form a duo. Despite the fact that they can only get together a few times a year, John and Keith harmonise very well together. Their live show is very balanced and they know exactly how to integrate their audience fully in a programme .For the past number of years, John and Keith have toured regularly in Germany around
St. Patrick´s Day. The year 2001 was been no exception. They played ten sold-out concerts
and introduced the CD that LIE Q gets it’s opening music from.

The Misprintz
(from left to right) Tom Halloran., Bill Elberg, Andrew Hilary & Michael Somanek, formed this fun Los Angeles based rock band in 2004. Their Frank Zappa meets Weezer style of rock n’ roll filled many famous venues like the Whiskey A Go Go and The Viper Room. Although their last show was five years ago, their music never gets old and will always get your foot tapping and bring a smile to your face
Burning Jet Black
David Sparrow (red shirt) of Westminster, Maryland introduced Lance and Bernd to his former band Burning Jet Black. Comprised of David Bloomfield (white shirt), Wes Hall (far right) and Rob Hughes (far left,) they were an indie rock band based out of Santa Monica, CA. They began with an idea: Fingers dancing on the fret board, legs shaking on the kick drum, sweat dripping off their brows, and the genuine heat of the crowd. It’s music with a pulse that shakes the depths of your soul.
BJB may have disbanded a few years ago but you can still buy their rocking music.
Or see David Sparrow, who recently moved back to Westminster, play any number of venues in the Maryland, DC and Virginia area.
