Lance Baldwin
Loyola Blakefield (Timonium, MD)
Lance moves from the smaller role of Jude and Gil’s brother in Lie Q to the larger one in Loch Raven as one half (Jerry) of the dynamic duo of Al & Jerry.
After graduating from the Universty of Richmond, he ventured to New York City for a graduate degree in Acting under Bill Esper at The Mason Gross School of the Arts of Rutgers University.
While in NYC, Lance had a run of work on stage, including a three year stint on the soap, All My Children.
Fortunately for the community he returned home. Not only did he help start an Improvisation troup at Loyola Blakefield but he also lended his talents to Arts On Stage, a organization which introduces children to creating their own theatrical productions and helped guide Goucher College’s theatrical students in set construction.
Lance continued working theatrically in Baltimore finding more work in commercials and films shooting in the area, most famously John Waters’ A Dirty Shame.
Most recently Lance co-founded Gunpowder Repertory Theatre, where he starred in two shows, Art and Glengarry Glen Ross, while also making his directorial debut with his favorite play Picasso at Lapin Agile. The cast Lance assembled for Picasso became the backbone of Lie Q.
